This past summer, choreographer and artistic director of the California Contemporary Ballet, Erin Holt launched a video project for which to showcase two of her latest works. The video shoots were a huge success and are now live and available for viewing on the California Contemporary Ballet website. Featuring music by Pulitzer Prize winning composer David Lang and directed by Dyron Pacheco, Cheating, Lying, Stealing and Pierced are a tour de force of balletic technical precision and emotional expression. Danced by the current company members of California Contemporary Ballet, these two pieces are sure to be seen in the company's continuing repertoire.
Additionally, you can now view two more pieces choreographed by Erin Holt on the website; The thrilling pas de trois Predea (Prey) and the playful Don't Judge my Shorts danced by the men of California Contemporary Ballet.
